QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA ASSISTANT

Job Responsibilities

1. Product Quality Assurance

• Ensure all incoming materials, in-process products and finished gloves meet the required quality specifications.

• Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

• Identify, report and follow up on quality issues and non-conformities.

2. Incoming Material Inspection

• Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials according to approved specifications.

• Verify material quality and ensure compliance with company requirements.

• Identify and report unacceptable materials for rejection or return to suppliers.

3. Rework Management

• Coordinate product rework activities when necessary.

• Ensure rejected or non-conforming products are properly identified and controlled.

• Maintain complete documentation and records for all rework activities.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare, complete and update quality inspection reports, records and logs.

• Ensure all QA documentation is accurate and properly maintained.

• Assist in preparing quality reports and maintaining QMS/ISO documentation.

5. Filing & Record Management

• Maintain systematic filing of quality documents and records.

• Ensure documents are properly organised and easily retrievable.

• Support the QA team in maintaining quality records.

6. Quality Compliance & Audits

• Ensure daily QA activities comply with company procedures and quality standards.

• Assist in internal and external quality audits.

• Work closely with Production and QC departments to maintain product quality.

Job Requirements

• Male or Female candidates are welcome to apply.

• Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Science, Manufacturing or any related field.

• Relevant working experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC).

• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Experience in glove manufacturing or medical device manufacturing will be an added advantage.

• Good knowledge of quality inspection, documentation and reporting procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented, organised, responsible and able to work independently.

• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment.

• Able to start immediately or within a short notice period is highly preferred.
