QC ASSISTANT

1. Sample Collection & Testing

•  Collect routine samples from production, dipping and packing lines.

•  Perform standard physical and chemical quality tests.

•  Conduct Water Leak Tests to identify possible defects and microscopic pinholes.

•  Record and report all testing results accurately.

2. In-Process & Finished Goods Inspection (IPQC / FGQC)

• Conduct routine quality inspections during production and on finished products.

• Inspect glove thickness, tensile strength, elasticity, colour, dimensions and visual appearance.

• Identify defects such as tears, stains, pinholes and deformities.

• Ensure products comply with established quality specifications.

3. Shipment Quality Control

• Verify product quality before shipment.

• Report any non-conforming products to the QA/QC Supervisor or Management.

• Ensure defective or rejected products are properly identified and controlled.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate quality inspection records and testing reports.

• Update daily inspection data and quality logs.

• Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly quality reports.

• Maintain proper QC documentation and filing.

5. Packaging & Former Verification

• Inspect raw materials and packaging materials according to specifications.

• Check the condition of ceramic and metal formers used on production lines.

• Report any abnormalities or quality issues.

6. Quality Compliance

• Follow established quality procedures and work instructions.

• Support internal and external quality audits when required.

• Ensure quality, safety and hygiene practices are maintained on the production floor.

Job Requirements
• Male or Female candidates are welcome to apply.
• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Science, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Previous experience in QC/QA, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in glove manufacturing or medical device manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and data entry.
• Good observation, inspection and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and disciplined.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to start immediately or within a short notice period is highly preferred.
