EHS Manager
Scope: Environment, Health & Safety
Job Summary
Lead the site’s environmental, health, and safety programs to support a safe workplace and compliance with applicable legal and company requirements. Promote prevention and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain site EHS policies, programs, procedures, and training.
Monitor compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety laws and company standards.
Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and audits; follow up on identified actions.
Lead incident reporting and investigation, including root-cause analysis and corrective-action tracking.
Monitor EHS performance and report trends, risks, and improvement plans to management.
Coordinate emergency preparedness, drills, and response planning.
Support safe work practices, contractor safety, and management of hazardous materials and waste.
Work with department leaders to reduce risks and improve EHS performance.
Provide EHS guidance and training to employees, supervisors, and contractors.
Maintain required EHS documentation and records.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
Relevant EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of applicable local EHS laws, risk assessment, incident investigation, and audit practices.
Strong communication, training, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Relevant professional certifications or registrations are an advantage.
