Tax Supervisor (Mandarin Speaker)

Keys responsibilities:

• To manage, coach and supervise a team of group members in the tax compliance team.

• To review tax returns and computations for corporate, individual, partnership, etc for submission to the tax authorities.

• Ensure timely submission of tax returns, estimates and tax-related documents in accordance with IRB requirements and statutory deadlines.

• To liaise with the tax authorities in connection with tax enquiries, appeals, refunds, etc.

• To attend to tax audit and investigation matters.

• To render tax advisory services including tax review, tax planning, etc. To monitor and update any technical developments.

• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and quality control procedures.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as audit, account, and secretarial, to ensure alignment on tax-related matters.

• To assume other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the company.

Job Requirements:

• At least Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Professional qualification (ACCA / CAT)

• At least 4-5 years of working experience in a tax firm.

• Computer Literate, knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of Accounting software & Tax software (YGL).

• Possess tax knowledge.

• Highly independent person with a sense of urgency, responsibility & well organized.

• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capable of working efficiently under pressure. Professional proficiency in English, Malay and Mandarin.

• Good client relationship and time management skills Able to start immediately is an added advantage
