E&E Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for an experienced E&E Quantity Surveyor to manage cost planning, tendering, and contract administration.

What You'll Do

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for new and ongoing projects

• Prepare tender documents, BQ/BOQ, and pricing schedules within deadlines

• Conduct quantity take-off, measurement, material sourcing, and labour costing

• Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations

• Analyse drawings and specifications; carry out detailed cost breakdowns

• Evaluate tenders and assist in preparing contract documents

• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow; implement cost control measures

• Certify subcontractor claims, progress payments, variation orders (VOs), and final accounts

• Administer contracts in line with PAM/JKR/FIDIC standards

• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors on commercial matters

• Provide cost advice, risk assessments, and value engineering input

• Report cost status and commercial risks to management

• Conduct market research on construction costs and material trends

What We're Looking For

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field

• Minimum 5 years' experience in tendering and project QS roles (E&E preferred)

• Strong knowledge of contract administration (PAM, JKR, CIDB, FIDIC)

• Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (CostX, Glodon Cubicost, or similar)

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

• Able to work independently, under pressure, and meet tight tender deadlines
