Position 1: Management Consultant – Financial Consolidation

Focus: Group Consolidation | Financial Close | Financial Reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Implement financial consolidation, financial close and group reporting solutions using CPM/EPM platforms.

• Work with finance and accounting teams to understand consolidation processes, reporting structures and business requirements.

• Translate accounting requirements into system designs, configuration rules, workflows, data mappings and reports.

• Support intercompany eliminations, currency translation, consolidation journals, reconciliations and reporting validations.

• Manage testing, troubleshooting, deployment, user training and post-implementation support.

• Lead client discussions and take ownership of project workstreams, timelines and delivery quality.

• Contribute to the growth of the Malaysia consulting team, with opportunities to progress into a team lead role.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial consolidation, group reporting, financial close, audit, finance transformation or CPM/EPM implementation.

• Strong understanding of consolidation processes, financial statements, IFRS or local GAAP reporting.

• Strong Excel skills and analytical thinking; SQL knowledge is an advantage.

• Experience with CCH Tagetik, Oracle EPM, OneStream, SAP BPC, HFM or similar platforms is highly desirable.

• Consulting, client-facing project delivery or finance transformation experience is preferred.

• Confident in communicating with finance stakeholders and managing assigned deliverables independently.

Financial Consolidation Consultant, Group Reporting Manager, Financial Reporting Manager, Finance Transformation Consultant, EPM/CPM Consultant, Financial Systems Consultant, Audit Manager or Consolidation Analyst with relevant implementation exposure.

Group consolidation, financial close, intercompany eliminations, IFRS/statutory reporting, management reporting, finance transformation and CPM/EPM implementation. Relevant backgrounds include Big Four/professional services, multinational group finance, shared services and enterprise finance systems consulting.

Position 2: Management Consultant – FP&A Systems

Focus: Budgeting | Forecasting | Financial Planning | Management Reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Implement CPM solutions for budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting.

• Engage finance and FP&A teams to understand planning cycles, business drivers, data sources and reporting requirements.

• Translate business requirements into planning models, system configurations, workflows, calculation rules, dashboards and reports.

• Use SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation and troubleshooting.

• Support data integration, testing, deployment, user training and project documentation.

• Coordinate with international stakeholders to deliver projects within scope, timelines and quality expectations.

• Take ownership of assigned workstreams and contribute to building the Malaysia consulting team.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A systems, EPM/CPM, financial systems, data analytics or consulting implementation.

• Strong SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, data validation and reconciliation.

• Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, scenario planning or driver-based planning.

• Strong Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with CCH Tagetik, Anaplan, Oracle EPM, OneStream, SAP BPC, Board or similar platforms is an advantage.

• Consulting, client-facing implementation or finance transformation experience is preferred.

• Able to translate business requirements into structured system solutions and communicate confidently with clients.

Also Suitable for Candidates From Roles Such As:

FP&A Consultant, EPM/CPM Consultant, Financial Systems Consultant, Finance Transformation Consultant, Planning & Reporting Manager, FP&A Manager, Business Intelligence Consultant or Financial Data Analyst with relevant systems implementation experience.

Ideal Candidates With Experience In:

Budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, variance analysis, driver-based financial modelling, management reporting, SQL-driven data analysis and financial planning system implementation. Relevant backgrounds include FP&A consulting, finance transformation, enterprise software implementation, data analytics and multinational finance teams.
